EOW raid in Katni, committee manager turned out to be crores, property found 650 times more than income

Katni / A 30-member team of the Economic Offenses Wing (EOW) Jabalpur raided the house of Anil Rai, assistant committee manager posted in the cooperative society at Deorikala in Reethi in the early hours of the morning. The EOW team got gold and silver in kilos, more than half a dozen vehicles and land papers.
According to the information, the assets acquired in the primary are 650 times more than the income. Giving information, Deputy Superintendent of Police, EOW Jabalpur, AB Singh said that search action was taken in the house of Assistant Committee Manager Anil Rai in village Deori Kala in Reethi tehsil by issuing a search warrant from the Honorable Court. During this, two Scorpios, Creata SUV four wheeler, 6 two wheeler, FD of Rs 4.5 lakh, registry of 4 plots, 3 registry of 18 acres of land, more than half a kilo of gold jewellery, about 2 kg were found in the house of the assistant committee manager. 9 lakh 30 thousand rupees in cash including silver have been received.
