10 lakh devotees will pull God's chariot

25 lakh will gather in the whole program faithful

Puri /Dham Jagannath Temple, one of the Char Dhams, is located in Odisha, which is famous all over the world for its Rath Yatra. According to the temple administration, the Rath Yatra will start from June 20. During this time devotees come from far and wide to have darshan of the Lord.
25 lakh devotees will be involved in the program 
Regarding the preparations for the Rath Yatra, the chief administrator of the temple Ranjan Kumar Das told that we are ready to organize such a big festival. About 10 lakh devotees will come to Puri on Sri Gundicha Diwas, the first day of Rath Yatra. All will pull the chariot of Lord Krishna, Lord Baldau and Goddess Subhadra. Apart from this, other Rath Yatra events are also organized, which include Bahuda (chariot return), Suna Bhesa (golden dress of the deities), Niladri (return to the main temple). Around 25 lakh devotees are expected to visit during the entire programme.
180 platoon of police deployed
Das said that due to the hot and humid weather of Puri, special arrangements are being made for the devotees. Apart from this, proper arrangement of drinking water has also been made for the devotees. Arrangements have also been made for a special ward, where experts will be present 24 hours. 180 platoons of state and central police forces will also be deployed to maintain law and order. There are 30 soldiers in a platoon. Apart from the police, other personnel including RAF, ODRAF and NDRF will also be deployed. During this, a green corridor has been made for ambulances, so that patients do not face any problem in movement.
